We use geolocation to ensure that anyone playing on the PlayStar website or mobile application is located within New Jersey state, as required by regulations.
- By triangulating your Wi-Fi signal and IP address, we can establish your location. Our geolocation provider is called XPoint.
- If playing from a laptop or personal computer, or if you're on mobile web, you would be required/prompted to separately install the XPoint app on your device in order to play.
- If playing on an app version of our casino, XPoint is already embedded within it so no further software download is required.
